Lenovo has quietly launched its activity tracker fitness band in the Indian market. The new Lenovo Smart Band HW01 is now available exclusively on Flipkart for Rs 1999.
Lenovo Smart Band HW01 features 0.91-inch OLED display. This display shows recorded data like steps taken, calories burned, distance traveled and more.

This fitness band also has real-time heart rate monitoring in Sports Mode. So, it automatically detects your heart rate every 15 minutes. When your heart reaches the designated threshold, it vibrates.
It also tracks sleep and comes with the anti-sleep mode. It automatically wakes you up in case you tend to fall asleep outside of your designated sleep timing. This mode is helpful when you lose concentration while driving or working at night.
It also shows notifications for call, messages, email, WhatsApp or Facebook. Notifications will be available when the phone is connected to the band. It can also be used to control your phone for performing few tasks. It allows you to capture selfies and control music of your phone.
It has stainless steel buckle and skin-friendly silicone strap. It also comes with IP65 ratings to make it water resistant and Dust proof.
Lenovo Smart Band HW01 supports both Android and iOS devices. It also supports Apple HealthKit and Google Fit. You can also share your fitness data on social accounts.
The battery life of the band is the only issue I see in this. It offers only 5 days of battery life. This fitness band will be competing with Mi Band 2 in the market. It has much-improved battery life as compared to Lenovo HW01.
