Lenovo has launched its dedicated brand for gaming ‘Legion’ in India. The company has launched two gaming laptops Lenovo Legion Y520 and Y720 for Rs. 92490 and Rs. 149,990.
Both laptops will be available from Flipkart and thedostore.com. Pre-booking of these laptops starts on May 19. The pre-booking on Flipkart also includes a flat exchange offer discount of Rs. 20,000.
Both Lenovo Legion Y520 & Y720 are designed for casual and performance gamers who want gaming experience on the go. These laptops are ntel’s seventh-generation Core processors (up to Core i7). These come with dedicated Nvidia graphic cards to offer powerful gaming experience.
Legion Y520 comes with 15.6-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display, 7th generation Core i7- 7700HQ processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti graphics card with 4GB GDDR5 video RAM, and Window 10. The laptop also has an optional red backlit keyboard. It weighs 2.4 KG.
It also has two 2W Harman speakers with support to Dolby Audio, 1TB HDD storage combined with 128GB SDD and battery life of up to 5 hours. The connectivity options are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, two USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB 2.0 port, and a USB Type-C.
Legion Y720 claims to be world’s first Dolby Atmos Windows based PC. It has 15.6-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display, 7th generation Core i7- 7700HQ processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 and 6GB of GDDR5 video RAM.
This laptop has been certified by Oculus as VR-ready. It also has two 2W JBL speakers, 2TB 5400RPM HDD and a 256GB SDD and 2TB 5400RPM HDD and a 256GB SDD. The connectivity options are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, three USB 3.0 ports, and a Thunderbolt 3 port.
Both laptops will be available in Black colour. The company is also offering 2 year on-site warranty worth Rs. 4,990 at Rs. 999 as part of launch offer.
