Instagram Direct Now Supports landscape & portrait Photos And Link Sharing

Today, Instagram rollout few new features to Instagram Direct and made it even better. This new update aims to improve the Instagram Direct experience.

Instagram never allowed links on its platform. It only had the option to include a link in user’s bio. Now it added the ability to share links in direct messages.

You also do not need to worry about cropping in permanent photo or videos while sharing in direct messages.

Landscape and portrait uploads in Instagram Direct are now available on iOS. It will be coming soon for Android devices. Links in Direct Messages are now available for both Android and iOS.

Other than copying features from Snapchat, Instagram has been focusing a lot on its DM feature. Adding link sharing and removing cropping restriction will make it more useful. It also added disappearing messages a few weeks back.
