Xiaomi officially unveils the Xiaomi Mi 6 in China today. This is the new Premium Android phone from Xiaomi. The Mi 6 comes with a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor and Adreno 540 GPU. It has 4GB RAM or 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB of inbuilt storage. It is available in three colours, Black, White, and Blue and also available in two special editions: Ceramic and Silver.
The company claims that there is a 10nm processor in Mi 6 which is 35 percent smaller and 25 percent more efficient than its predecessors. The device is expected to run Android 7.1.1 Nougat with the new version of MIUI. Xiaomi Mi 6 has a 5.15-inch Full HD display with 600nit brightness 4096 smart backlight adjustment levels. It has 1nit ultra-dark night display and Xiaomi claimed to up to four times lower brightness in low-light.
The fingerprint sensor is on the front which embedded under the home button. Mi 6 has four-sided 3D glass design with a stainless steel frame. The smartphone has dual stereo speakers at the bottom which gives better immersive experience when you’re watching videos. Xiaomi took special care of the alignment of the controls, the SIM tray, and the antenna lines. This smartphone is splash resistant. The Mi 6 design is unique from other Mi mobiles due to these features.
It features dual rear camera setup. It has a 12MP wide-angles lens with a 12MP telephoto lens at the rear. This is just similar to the Apple iPhone 7 Plus. This smartphone has the 2x optical zoom for the clear picture of distant subjects and 10x digital zoom. The camera features Portrait Mode and 4-axis optical stabilization which reduces the effect of hand shake or motion. It has 8 megapixels front camera for selfie.

It has a 3,350mAh battery with higher power efficiency. It supports 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C charging. It also supports NFC.
In China, the Xiaomi Mi6 4GB RAM/64GB ROM launched for RMB 2,199 and 4GB/128GB variant for RMB 2,599. Xiaomi also launched a Ceramic Edition of Mi 6. It comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and the cost is 2999 RMB. Mi 6 will be available starting 28 April across Mi.com.
There is no news regarding Indian Launch of Mi 6. But after this launch, you can expect its launch in India soon.
