Popular messaging service WhatsApp works on your phone number. If you change your number, you will have to re-register the number to create a new account. Then you notify all your friends about this new account and ask them to add in the groups again with the new number. To solve this problem, WhatsApp is working on “Change Number” feature.

The change number feature was found by @WABetaInfo in beta version 2.17.130 for Windows Phone or Windows 10 Mobile users. This feature enables users to notify all your contact about the change. Your account will shift to the new number without losing your chats and group data.

You will have the option to notify all contacts about your number change or only with those contacts, you have chats with or you can switch to the new number without notifying anyone.

The Live Location sharing feature will also be there soon on WhatsApp. This feature was spotted on WhatsApp beta for Android v2.17.150. It is also disabled by default. This feature is also disabled by default. There is not much information about this. We expect this to be similar to Facebook and Google’s recent Live Location Sharing feature.

We cannot say when this feature will be available in the stable apps. If you cannot wait, you can install the recent beta version of the app to get these features.
