Meizu has finally announced its Meizu E2 smartphone in China. The phone comes in two RAM/storage variants.The phone is priced at 1299 Yuan for 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 1599 for 4GB RAM with 64GB model. It will is now available to oder and will go sale from April 29th.
Meizu E2 comes with 5.5-inch Full HD LCD display with 1000: 1 contrast ratio. It runs on Flyme 6.0 based on YunOS. It has 2.3GHz GHz MediaTek Helio P20 Octa-Core 64-bit 16nm processor and ARM Mali T880 GPU.
The phone come in 3GB RAM with 32 GB storage or 4GB RAM with 64GB storage models. Internal storage of the phone is expandable up to 128GB. The phone has Hybrid Dual SIM slots where secondary sim slot acts as memory card slot.
It has 13 megapixels rear camera with 4-LED dual tone Flash, f/2.2 aperture and PDAF. With 4-LED flash, it claims to give better low-light performance. At the front side, it has 8 megapixels front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1.4μm pixel size.
Meizu E2 comes in Black, Moonlight Silver and Champagne Gold colors. The dimensions are 153.7 x 75.7 x 7.5mm. Weight of the phone is 155 grams. The phone has fingerprint sensor, mTouch located on the home button. It claims to unlock phone in just 0.2 seconds
The connectivity features of the phone are 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS and GLONASS. It is packed with 3400 mAh battery with support to fast charging. It claims to charge the phone up to 40% in just 30 minutes.
There is also a special Transformers Edition of smartphone. Users can also get special Hi cases for the phone available in black, red, blue, and green color options. These cases are priced at 79 Yuan.
