LG G6 is Now Up for Pre-booking in India, Launch is Scheduled on Monday
LG has opened the pre-booking of LG G6 smartphone in India before the official launch of the phone. The company will launch LG G6 in India on Monday.
LG is also offering the cashback of up to Rs. 7000 as a pre-booking offer and it is valid until May 1. From May 2, the cashback will be of Rs. 5000. It is also worth to note that the cashback is only available through Pine Lab machines and only one transaction per card.
Additionally, the company is offering 50 percent off on the LG Tone Active+ HBS-A100 wireless headset as a pre-booking offer. You can pre-book the phone through the LG website and via offline retailers.
While the official price of the phone is not known yet, I am expecting it to be priced in between Rs. 50000 to Rs. 55000.
The company is also giving away “EA special gifts” for 6 mobile games including Cookie Jam, Temple Run 2, and Spider-Man Unlimited among others.
LG launched the LG G6 back in February at MWC 2017. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box with new UX 6.0 that is optimized for the 18:9 aspect ratio. This is the most talked thing in the phone.
Other specs include 5.7-inch QHD+ (1440×2880 pixels) FullVision display with an 18:9 (or 2:1) aspect ratio, Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, 32GB or 64GB storage option, expandable up to 2TB, dual camera setup at the back with two 13 MP camera sensors, 5 megapixels camera at the front and 3300 mAh battery.
It was also the first smartphone with supports Dolby Vision at the time of the launch. It also features 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC for enhanced audio playback.
The phone weighs 163 grams and dimensions measure 148.9×71.9×7.9mm. It comes with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, NFC, and USB Type-C 2.0 connectivity options.
It comes with Astro Black, Ice Platinum, and Mystic White colour options. The phone also comes with IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
