Facebook has finally come with something we all will appreciate. It has implemented a new photo matching technology to ensure people cannot re-share images previously reported or tagged as revenge porn on social media platform.
The person who tries to share the photo will see a pop-up saying the photo violates Facebook’s policies and it will not allow the person to share that photo on Facebook, Messenger or Instagram.
If you see any such image on Facebook that should not be on the platform, you can report it to help. Specially trained persons from Facebook will review the image and remove it if it violates Community Standards. Facebook also confirmed that it also remove accounts of people sharing these kinds of images.

Facebook has also partnered with few organizations including cyber Civil Rights Initiative and the Revenge Porn Helpline, to offer support to revenge porn victims.
Revenge Porn is one of the most hated crime on the Internet. According to a report published last year, One in 25 people in the U.S. becomes victims of non-consensual image sharing. 93% of people affected by sharing of non-consensual intimate photos lead to emotional distress.
