Amazon has today launched its Fire TV Stick in India. This is a streaming device to get entertainment content from Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar, Netflix and more on your HDTV. The device is now available on Amazon.in for Rs. 3999.

If I talk about hardware specifications, it comes with 1.3 GHz Quad-core MediaTek Processor with 1GB RAM and Mali450 MP4 GPU. It has 8GB storage. It supports Dual-band 802.11ac WiFi s 2×2 MIMO and Bluetooth 4.1.

It also comes bundled with a voice remote that lets you perform voice search on Amazon Video content. It supports Hindi and English language both.

It supports Dolby Audio, 5.1 surround sound, 2ch stereo, and HDMI audio pass-through up to 7.1. It has HDMI output to connect TV, Micro-USB for charging.

It supports various audio and video formats. you can use it on HD TVs with HDMI capability of 1080p or 720p at 60/50Hz.
