Xiaomi just launched its Xiaomi Redmi 4A smartphone in Indian market. This entry-level phone is priced at Rs. 5999 and will be available exclusively from Amazon.in. It comes in Gray, Gold and Rose Gold colors.

Xiaomi Redmi 4A offers 5-inch HD IPS display and runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It has 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 processor with 500MHz Adreno 308 GPU and 2GB RAM. It also got 16GB internal storage with the option to expand storage up to 128GB.

It has 13 megapixels rear camera with LED Flash, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture, 1080p video recording. It also has 5 megapixels front camera with f/2.2 aperture. The phone also offers Infrared sensor.

It comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS + GLONASS connectivity options. It has 3100 mAh battery.

In the same event, Xiaomi also confirmed that it has started its second manufacturing plant in the country. This new plant is owned and operated by Foxconn;
