At MWC, Sony announced a cool gadget dubbed as ‘Sony Xperia Touch’. It is the Android-powered projector that turns any surface into a touchscreen.

Sony Xperia Touch uses an infrared sensor to detect what option you are touching to take input action. You can project it on the table in front of you or on the wall. It is like having a tablet on any surface. Not just this, you can also stream YouTube or Netflix-like streaming services.

The company has created its own UI for touch and tried to put the bunch of information at one place. You can also access Skype video chat, browser web, slideshows or download apps from Google Play Store.

Since it is an Android-powered device, you can also connect Bluetooth controllers.

It will go on sale in Europe sometime this spring for the price of €1,499.
