In the recent update to YouTube app, the company has added an interesting feature to make video experience better. Now users can move the video 10 seconds forward or backward just by tapping twice on the video.

To move video 10 seconds forward, double tap on the right side of the screen and double tap on the left side of the screen to move the video 10 seconds backward.

We are exactly not sure when the feature was added and chances are that it came with the latest update to App.

Most of the users already got this but many people are still waiting for this to work on their phone. If this is the case, it seems that the feature is being rolled out and will be available to all users soon.

This feature will be helpful when you are watching a movie or a TV series and want to skip the annoying part of the video. Moving video forward with progress slider sometimes does not work as expected and we end up skipping more video that we usually expect.

Just visit the Play Store or App store to update your YouTube app and see if this feature works for you.
