Xiaomi just announced a new phone Xiaomi Mi 5C, the success of Mi 4C. This new phone comes with Xiaomi’s own Surge S1 Soc introduced along with the phone.
The phone has unibody metal design and carries the weight of just 135 grams. The dimensions of the phone measure 144.38 x 69.68 x7.09 mm and weight is 135grams.
It has 5.15-inch Full HD curved glass display and runs on MIUI 8. It has 2.2GHz Xiaomi Surge S1 64-bit Octa-Core processor with quad-core Mali-T860 GPU and 3GB LPDDR3 RAM. The phone also has 64GB eMMC 5.0 internal storage with no option to expand storage.
Xiaomi Mi 5C comes with 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 6P lens 27-mm wide angle lens and 1.25 μm pixel size. It also has 8 megapixels front camera with /2.0 aperture.
The phone comes with both fingerprint scanner and infrared sensor. The fingerprint sensor is located on the physical home button below the display. It supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac dual-band, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB Type-C.
It is packed with 2850 mAH battery with support to fast charging.
The Xiaomi Mi 5C will come in Rose Gold, Gold and Black colors. It is priced at 1499 Yuan and will go on sale in China starting from March 3.
