Sony Xperia XZs with 5.2-inch, Snapdragon 820 announced
Sony has announced the Sony Xperia XZs, successor Xperia XZ launched last year. This new phone comes in Ice Blue, Warm Silver and Black colors. The company didn’t confirm the pricing details.
Sony Xperia XZs comes with 5.2-inch Full HD Triluminos Display with X-Reality and Dynamic Contrast Enhancer. It has Quad-Core Snapdragon 820 64-bit 14nm processor with 4GB RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. The phone will be available in 32 GB and 64 GB storage models with option to expand storage up to 256GB.
It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. It offers 19 megapixels rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Exmos RS sensor, Predictive and Laser autofocus, 5-axis stabilization, 4K video recording and 960fps slow-motion video. It also comes with 13 megapixels front-facing camera with 1/3” Exmor RS sensor, 22mm wide-angle f/2.0 lens and 1080p video recording. It also has dedicated camera shutter button.
The phone comes with DSEE HX, LDAC and Digital Noise Cancelling tech. It also has fingerprint sensor.
The connectivity features of the phone include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C. It is packed with 2900mAh Battery with Qnovo’s Adaptive Charging technology.
Like other Xperia phone, this phone is also Water Resistant with IP65 and IP68 ratings. The dimensions of the phone measure 146 x 72 x 8.1 mm and weight is 161 grams.
