Moto has just announced next generation devices in its G series. It has introduced Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. Both phones come with unibody design but differ in screen sizes and few features.
Moto G5 comes with 5-inch Full HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has1.4GHz Octa-Core 64-bit Snapdragon 430 (MSM8937) processor with Adreno 505 GPU. It will be available in 2GB and 3GB RAM models. It has 16 GB storage with option to expand storage up to 128GB.
It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. It has 13 megapixels rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF and full HD recording. It also has 5 megapixels front camera.
The phone comes with Water repellent nano-coating similar to previous Moto G devices. It also has Front-ported loudspeaker. It comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS connectivity options. It is packed with 2800 mAh battery with 10W rapid charge.
Mot G5 measure 144.3x73x9.5 mm and weighs 144.5g.
Moto G5 Plus is larger with 5.2-inch Full HD display. The display is also protected with Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. This phone will be available in 2GB or 3GB RAM options with 32 GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 128GB.
It has 12 megapixels rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Dual-Pixel Autofocus, Sony IMX362 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 4K video recording. It also has 5 megapixels front-facing camera with OmniVision OV5695 sensor, f/2.2 aperture.
Moto G5 Plus also has Water repellent nano-coating, Front-ported loudspeaker and Fingerprint sensor.
This phone has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS connectivity options. It is packed with 3000mAh battery with Turbo charging.
