Vivo has finally launched world’s first dual front camera phone Vivo V5 Plus in India. The phone was already available for pre-order in the country. It is priced at Rs. 27980.

Vivo V5 Plus is notable due to its dual front camera setup. It has 20-megapixels front camera with Sony IMX376 1/2.78″ sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and an 8-megapixels secondary front camera to capture depth information.

This phone also offers 16 megapixels rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, and PDAF.

Vivo V5 Plus comes with 5.5-inch Full HD in-Cell display with 2.5D corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with 4 GB RAM and Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box.

The phone has 64 GB internal storage. It offers 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS connectivity options. It is packed with 3160 mAh battery with support to fast charging.

The phone is for selfie lovers who like to capture selfies and share it with friends on social media platforms.  This phone also offers HiFi music for good music experience.

As the phone aims the offline market, the cost of the phone is high. I am not sure if Indian consumers are ready to pay this much of amount just to get dual front camera phone for selfies. No doubt the selfie experience will be awesome, but one can go with OnePlus 3 for this price.
