Motorola’s Moto Z smartphones were notable due to its Modularity and Mods. Motorola also confirmed that it will keep on adding new Mods to make this project interesting and refreshing.

Now a new Moto Mod is under development that aims to bring wireless charging and IR blaster to Moto Z series of phones. This mode is now listed on INDIEGOGO for raising $5000 for development.

Like other Moto Mods, this will be attached to the back of the smartphone and connected to phone’s PIN. This Mod will be 3.15 mm thick that is thinner than the Moto Shell. So, it will not make the phone heavy as well.

Once attached to the phone, this phone will get wireless charging support and IR blaster. With IR blaster, this phone can also be used as remote control for various home appliances.

This price of this Moto Mod is just $35 for wireless charging version and if you pay $45, it will also support IR blaster.

It is not just the thinnest Moto Mod but also the cheaper one. The project is estimated to complete in November 2017. If you are interested in getting this Mod, you can back it on IndieGoGo and pre-order one for you.
