Chinese smartphone company Gionee has launched its new smartphone Gionee Steel 2. This phone is priced at RMB 1299. Now the phone is up for pre-order in China.
Gionee Steel 2 comes with 5-inch HD display and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Amigo UI 3.5. It is powered by 1.3Ghz Quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor with 3 GB RAM. It will be available in two storage variants.
It has 8 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and 5 megapixels front camera. The camera has many features including Autofocus, Geo-tagging, digital zoom, Panorama, Touch focus, Self timer, Face detection, Smile detection, HDR, Face Beauty, Voice capture, Gesture Shot, GIF Mode, Pic Notes, and Smart Scan.
This phone comes with a fingerprint scanner with embedded in its home button. It offers 4G/LTE, Dual SIM (Dual Standby), WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), WiFi Direct, WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, microUSB 2.0, GPS/A-GPS and Infrared connectivity options.
It is packed with 4000 mAh Li-Po battery that claims to deliver up to 28 hours of talktime and up to 528 hours of stand by time.
The phone measure 144.3 x 70.5 x 8.6 mm and weighs at 160 grams.
