Coolpad has launched its affordable smartphone Coolpad Conjr for $179 with good specifications. This is Coolpad’s first unlocked phone in US>
Coolpad Conjr features 2.5D display with2.5D glass on the front and 70.6% screen to body ratio. It comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with its own Cool UI 8.0 on top. It is powered by 1.0 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735CP chip. This is pretty slow process, so do not expect good performance.
This phone has 3 GB RAM and 16 GB storage. Internal storage can also be expanded via microSD card slot. Coolpad Conjr offers 13 megapixels rear camera and 8 megapixels front camera. Both phones come with LED flash and can record 720p videos.
It also features a fingerprint sensor with support to 5 different fingerprint profiles. It offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity options. It has 2500 mAh battery that claims to offer 9 hours of talk time on 3G network.
The phone is now available in US and will be working with all GSM carriers of the country.
