Asus plans to launch its next generation Zenfone series of the smartphone in May this year. This sounds strange because the Zenfone 3 series was announced back in August and the last phone of the series was announced just two weeks back.

Jerry Shen, CEO of the company has already confirmed his plans to increase the sales to double fold. The company has made a goal to ship 20 million devices this year. So, it will try to focus on offering products consumers need. In 2016, the company shipped 17.5 million Zenfone smartphones that was less than the projected 25 million.

We have no idea of Zenfone 4 but we can expect to start seeing new leaks and rumors. An earlier report suggested that a Zenfone 4 device with the 5.2-inch display and 4850 mAh battery could be in works. If this is the right one, we expect it to be from Zenfone Max series.

We have reviewed few of Zenfone 3 devices and got good results. The only issue with the devices was pricing. In the competitive smartphone market, pricing should be right to beat the competition. Zenfone 3 is no doubt an awesome phone the phone fails to beat OnePlus 3 but come for the same price.
