Next iPhone will be remarkable because Apple will be celebrating its 10th Anniversary with that iPhone. We have earlier reported few leaks about iPhone 7s or iPhone 8. We cannot be sure about the name until Apple officially announces the phones. Now a new report tips the iPhone X.

Timothy Arcuri from research firm Cowen and Company tips three iPhone models next year. Two models will be of same iteration series and will be called as iPhone 7s and iPhone 7S Plus. But the third one was referred as iPhone X in his report.

This phone was noted to have 5.8-inch OLED display that will have curved around all sides for a “wraparound” design. The phone tipped to have edge-to-edge screen like the Xiaomi Mi Mix. So the earpiece, front-facing camera and fingerprint sensor could be embedded directly into the display.

The report also claims the inclusion of new laser sensor, infrared sensor near the front camera and wireless charging.

The iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus will offer the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch display along with performance improvement over the iPhone 7 models. Apple may choose to use OLED screen in smaller variants but it depends on the Samsung’s ability to supply the OLED display to Apple. If there is the supply issue, Apple may stick to LCD panels for iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus.

It has also been suggested that Apple could use the stainless steel frame for iPhone 8 to hold the glass sandwich front and back. This design will be similar to iPhone 4 design.
