Vivo V5 and Zenfone 3 Max are the two smartphones launched this month. Both phones are priced almost similar. Zenfone 3 Max ZC553KL is priced at 17990 and Vivo V5 has priced Rs. 17890. So, we thought to compare these two phones and see what one should you buy if you have the budget around Rs. 18000 and you are considering these two options.

Both Zenfone 3 Max ZC553KL and Vivo V5 have the metal unibody design. Performance and software experience
If I talk about performance both phones come with the octa-core processor. While Zenfone 3 Max comes with Snapdragon 430 chipset, Vivo V5 comes with MediaTek MT6750. Now if we see the RAM. Vivo V5 comes with 4GB RAM while Zenfone 3 Max only comes with 3 GB RAM. Both phones have similar processors, but larger RAM helps Vivo V5 to deliver better performance.
Gaming experience is almost similar but Vivo V5 has the advantage due to larger RAM. But graphics processor in Zenfone 3 Max is slightly better.
Software experience depends on person to person. Because both phones run on custom UI over the Android and both UI offers lag free experience.
Camera
The camera is the primary advantage in Vivo V5. Vivo V5 comes with 13 megapixels rear camera with dual LED flash along with a 20 megapixels front camera with LED flash. This front flash is known as moonlight glow flash. It claims to offer moonlight to make your selfies look like captured in the moonlight and avoid the pale effect. So selfie crazy people will surely see Vivo V5 better.

If I talk about battery Zenfone 3 Max comes with 4100 mAh battery as compared to 3000 mAh battery in Vivo V5. So, you will get longer battery life in Zenfone 3 max. Asus also offers advanced battery saving modes that give you even better battery life. Zenfone 3 Max also supports reverse charging. So, you can also use it as the power bank to charge other phones. The battery is a crucial thing we look for in a phone. With the large battery in your phone, you do not need to carry a power bank with you.
