Yesterday Samsung released a teaser of a new A series smartphone launch. Now, the company has started sending media invites for the launch of Samsung Galaxy A 2017.

The invite confirms the name of the phone. The event will take place on 5th January 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Water drops on the invite image say the same thing what we explained yesterday. This phone will be waterproof. This phone is also expected to feature a better look from the front, improved camera, and powerful hardware.

At this time, we cannot say when the device will hit other markets. This launch is only for the Malaysia.
