Micromax has launched two new budget phone with 4G VoLTE support. These phones are Micromax Vdeo 1 and Vdeo 2 priced at Rs. Rs. 4,440 and Rs. 4,990, respectively. These phones come with bundles Jio SIM card and pr-loaded Google Duo video calling app.
“We think that this new series will revive sales in the sub Rs 6,000, which has shrunk by 30% on-year in the last three quarters,” Shubhajit Sen, chief marketing officer at Micromax said, citing data from Counterpoint Research.
Micromax Vdeo 1 comes with 4-inch WVGA IPS display and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is powered by 1.3GHz Quad-core processor with 1 GB RAM. It has 8 GB storage with microSD card slot.
It has 5 megapixels rear camera and 2 megapixels front camera. It also offers 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. It is packed with 1600mAh battery.
Micromax Vdeo 2 is larger with 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is powered by 1.3GHz Quad-core processor with 1 GB RAM. It has 8 GB storage with microSD card slot to expand storage up to 32 GB.
It has 5 megapixels rear camera and 2 megapixels front camera. It also offers 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. It is packed with 1800mAh battery.
