Google Assistant is an interesting feature in Google’s instant messaging app Google Allo. As India is one of the biggest markets for Google, it promised to bring Google Assistant in Hindi. Today, it is rolling our Hindi language capabilities to the Assistant for both Android and iOS platform.
You just need to type @google to bring your assistant into the chat and then start the conversations. Now ask queries in Hindi by saying “Talk to me in Hindi” or adjust the language setting on your device.
Not just Google Assistant, you will also be able to use “Smart Reply” in Hindi. It is another interesting thing in the app that makes it worth to try. Allo’s “Smart Reply” is powered by Machine Learning and helps you in replying quickly without typing.
Google automatically recognize what language you are using and then begin to show suggested responses in that language. if you are chatting in English, you will see smart replies in English and if you are chatting in Hindi, you will see smart replies in Hindi.
This update will be available to all users in coming few days. Google also promised to bring support for more local languages in coming months. After this update, Google Assistant and Smart Reply are available in English, Hindi, Hinglish, German, and Brazilian Portuguese languages.
