Asus is also working on a new smartphone with dual camera setup. This was confirmed by the listing on Chinese telecommunication authority TENAA. The listing carries the model name Asus Z01HDA. This phone is also rumoured to come as Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom.
Asus Z01HDA aka Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom to come with 5.5-inch Full HD display. It will be available in multiple RAM and storage models. RAM options include 2GB, 3GB, and 4GB, while storage comes in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. All versions will have option to expand storage. This phone will feature Snapdragon 625 similar to Zenfone 3 model.
Images in the listing also confirm the dual-rear camera setup. It will have a 16 megapixels dual rear camera setup with dual LED flash and laser autofocus. It will also have a secondary 13 megapixels camera at front.
It will come with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, fingerprint sensor on the back and 4850 mAh battery. I am not sure why the company is still testing the phone with older version of the phone.
The dimensions of the phone measure 154.3×77×7.99mm and weight is 170g. It comes with Navy Black, New Crafts Silver, Luxury Gold color options.
We are expecting this phone to become official at CES 2017 scheduled for early next year.
