If you own an iPhone 7 Plus, you must take a better look at the camera of the phone. It is because few iPhone 7 Plus users are reporting a serious issue with the phone that can only be fixed by replacing the phone.

Apple iPhone 7 Plus has a hardware issue. It was reported by a user on Reddit who posted, “iPhone 7 Plus Cameras are dying”. He also explained the issue and reported how his phone was responding strangely while using the camera app.

‘I opened up the camera app only to be met with a black image preview, sometimes I can get an image however it’s either tinted green or purple and was once accompanied by a screen stating ‘Emergency iPhone needs to cool down’ when the handset wasn’t even slightly warm.’

Many other iPhone 7 Plus users also reported the same issue. Few of those people confirmed that Apple has replaced their handset due to the hardware issue while few got it repaired by the installation of a new camera module.

So, it appears that Apple knows the issue and is privately acknowledging it without making any public statement about the issue.

If you own iPhone 7 Plus and your iPhones says “Emergency iPhone needs to cool down’ while using the camera app, you must contact Apple for a replacement phone. There is no way you can fix it by a software.
