Amazon India has quietly started offering beauty services in selected areas of Bangalore. This service is in testing and will be rolled out to other cities if it gets the good response.
As of now, the service is only available for women customers. Amazon India is offering Pedicure, Chocolate Waxing, manicure, Threading and Waxing services.
You just need to visit the Amazon.in and book any of these services. You will then receive a call to schedule the service within business hours. you will be getting the same day service if you are not too late in booking.
There is no cash on Deliver option for the services. You will have to pay online in advance. Flipkart is also offering 50% discount on these servies and pricing seems to be the same you pay on parlors.
To offer these services, Amazon has partnered with third-party service providers. Your order will be booked and a relevant service provider will be informed.
With this new offering, Amazon.in will also be competing HouseJoy. Amazon is the lead investor in Housejoy, which provides similar services along with many other services.
