Xaiomi has just announced its latest smartphone in Redmi Series dubbed as Xiaomi Redmi 4. The company has announced two variants of the phone that differs in processor, RAM and storage configuration.

The base variant with Snapdragon 430, 2GB RAM and 16GB storage is priced at 699 Yuan. Xiaomi also calls it Redmi 4 Standard. The Other variant with Snapdragon 625, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage is priced at 899 Yuan. It is being called Redmi 4 Pro. It will go on sale in China starting from November 11.

Redmi 4 comes with metal unibody design. It has 2 variants which differ on most of the things.

The basic variant of the phone comes with 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display, octa-core Snapdragon 430 SoC, 2GB RAM and 16 GB storage. Other variant comes with 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display, octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC, 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. Internal storage is also expandable up to 128 GB

Both models run on MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The camera specs are same in both model. Redmi 4 comes with 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and PDAF. It claims to focus in just 0.1 second. At front, it has 5 megapixels selfie shooter.

These phons offer 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS. It also has fingerprint sensor at the back side and an infrared sensor.

Dimensions of the phone measure 141.3×69.6×8.9mm and Weight is 156g.
