Xiaomi is now a well-known player in the smartphone market, but the company has already stepped into a number of industries. Now, Xiaomi is working to bring is 3D printers in coming weeks.

GizmoChina reported that Xiaomi is working on 3D printers. Not just reporting, it also published the photos of the printer as a proof of the report.

This will be a low-cost printer made of plastic cladding with metal shafts to support the innards. It has the frosted glass or translucent finish from the front and plastic cover at the top. The bottom is open where users can reach out and pick up the finished product.

Like most of other Xiaomi products, this will be a budget 3D printer with the aim to beginners. Xiaomi will price this aggressively and launch it in China. The Indian market has almost no demand for 3D printers, so launching it in India does not make sense. But, the company is expected to bring it in India if pricing is not too high.

No technical details of the leaked 3D printer are known yet. So, we cannot compare it with existing products in the market.

Are you excited to see the Xiaomi’s new product? Will you be trying this 3D printer if it is available in your country? Share your views in comments.
