A Few days back, Qualcomm announced its new processor Snapdragon 835 for flagship smartphones. We know that the processor will be used by most of the flagship phones including Galaxy S8 and OnePlus 4 next year.

Now we just got a report talking about Xiaomi’s Mi 6 smartphone with Snapdragon 835. As reported by Weibo post, Mi 6 will be the first Chinese smartphone to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 835.

This contradicts the previous reports claiming Oppo Find 9 to be the first Chinese phone with Snapdragon 835.

Mi 6 is expected to come in March when Oppo Find 9 is also rumored to come. But the Mi 6 will come few days before the launch of Find 9. We still have no confirmed date, so final result may not be the same.

The same post also claims that Galaxy S8 will be the first phone to feature Snapdragon 835. This phone is expected to come in the same month. It seems that March 2017 is going to be an interesting month to wait for.

At this moment, we do not have any more information about Xiaomi Mi 6. But we are sure to get more details when we are close to the launch of the phone. We will be reporting all the interesting things, so stay tuned.
