We all know that Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 3 was a big hit in India. This phone is still the best choice for customers willing to buy a phone in the price range of Rs. 10000 to Rs. 15000. This phone along with Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime helped the company to achieve a big milestone.

Xiaomi India has just announced to achieve 2 million sales milestone in a quarter. It managed this record in Q3 2016. The company also confirmed that it was 150% year on year growth.

This was the best quarter for Xiaomi in India ever since it entered in the Indian market back in July 2016. In less than two and half years, Xiaomi India has achieved various big milestones.

Xiaomi’s India head Manu Kumar Jain tweeted to announce this milestone.

“Mi India has been warmly welcomed by users, which is why we are one of the fastest growing brands in the smartphone industry today – one out of every four smartphones sold online was Xiaomi,” Jain said.

Xiaomi entered in India with online-only sales model but it has now partnered with several retailers to sell its phone across the country. With offline presence, the company is doing very good business in India.
