Vivo has officially launched its new selfie focused smartphone Vivo V5 in Indian market. With this phone, the company has also changed its tagline to “Camera and Music”. So, you can now guess that the phone is all about camera and music. This is the world’s first smartphone with 20 megapixels front camera and Moonlight Glow. It is priced at Rs. 17890.
Vivo V5 comes with 5.5-inch HD display based on 2.5D curved glass. It has metal unibody design with curved edges. The design of the phone looks similar to many other phones already available in market.
It is powered by Octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 (4 x 1.5GHz A53 + 4 x 1.0GHz A53) processor with Mali T860 GPU and 4 GB RAM. It also offers 32 GB internal storage that is expandable up to 128 GB. It is worth to note that the phone has hybrid dual sim slots.
It comes with 13 megapixels rear camera with LED Flash and PDAF. It also offers 20 megapixesl front camera with Moonlight Flash, Sony IMX376 1/2.78″ sensor, f/2.0 aperture and 5p lens. This phone boasts to offer best selfie camera we have ever seen in smartphones.
It comes with AK4376 audio chip to offer Hi-Fi sound. It also has fingerprint sensor embedded on the home button. The Dimensions of the phone measure 153.8 x 75.5 x 7.55mm and Weight is 154g.
It comes with 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS, USB OTG connectivity options. It is packed with 3000mAh battery which seems smaller for these kind of specifications.
It comes in Crown Gold and Space Gray colors. It will be available for pre-order from November 16th to 25th and goes on sale from November 26th.
