Samsung Galaxy S8 will finally feature a selfie front camera. This good news came from a South Korea.

Samsung will be announcing its next flagship phone Galaxy S8 next year in February. With this phone, Samsung is aiming too high and forget the Note 7’s tragedy.

Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S7 and Note 5 have been stuck at 5 megapixels fixed focus selfie camera. So, we can see the auto focus front camera as a big upgrade. The source of this information didn’t confirm the megapixels for the camera.

According to the source, the company has decided to introduce encoder-type AF actuator for the front camera . It is a part that goes into a camera module and controls the location of lenses. Samsung will be using encode type actuators to implement the autofocus in the camera. This is generally used in the rear camera.

Samsung will try to make Galaxy S8 a masterpiece for 2017. We already saw the render of the smartphone.

Galaxy S8 will also come with Samsung’s own personal digital assistant similar to Google Assistant, Cortana or Siri. Samsung has already patented a male and a female name of that.
