A new Indian company ‘OKWU’ has jumped into the smartphone market. This Noida-based startup has launched its first smartphone ‘OKWU Pi’ in India. This phone is priced at Rs. 5999.

OKWU Pi comes with 5-inch HD display and runs on Android 6.1 Marshmallow. It is powered by 1.2GHz Quad-core MediaTek 6735 processor with 1 GB RAM. It has 8 GB internal storage with microSD card slot to expand storage up to 32 GB.

It has dual rear camera setup at the back with 8 megapixels + 2 megapixels cameras. It also has 2 megapixels front camera. This is the cheapest phone with dual camera setup in country.

It has concealed body with metal finish to make it attractive. It is 6.5 mm thick and weight of the phone is just 138 grams. It also has fingerprint sensor at back.

This phone comes with an accessory U-Tag. It is a bluetooth tag that can be connected to your belongings and devices. You can connect your belongings and get notifications if you are close or away to that thing.

As of now, the smartphone will be manufactured in China but OKWU has already planned to bring the assembly unit in India soon. The company also claimed to have over 300 service centers and will add more soon. They are also offering pick and drop service.
