Today, Huawei announced its new smartphone Huawei Mate 9 Pro in China. This phone is identical to Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Edition in terms of specifications and design but lacks the Porsche branding. As of now, this phone seems to be only for China.

It will be available in will be available in Champagne Gold, Space Gray, Mocha Brown, Moonlight Silver, and Ceramic White colors. It has all-metal unibody design and curved 2.5D glass on the front. The phone measures 152x75x7.5mm.

Huawei Mate 9 Pro is cheaper than Mate 9 Porsche Edition. It carries price tag of 4,699 Yuan for the version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while the 6GB/128GB model retails for 5,299 Yuan in China.

Huawei Mate 9 Pro comes with 5.5-inch Quad HD curved AMOLED display and runs on Anddroid 7.0 Nougat. It is powered by Kirin 960 64-bit Octa-core processor with 6GB or 4GB RAM.

It has dual Leica branded camera setup (20MP and 12MP) at the back of the phone. At front, it has 8 megapixels front camera. The camera is backed with optical image stabilisation, a 4-in-1 hybrid autofocus (laser, phase-detect, depth, and contrast detection) and a dual-tone dual-LED flash.

It also has a fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone.

Huawei Mate 9 Pro offers 4G, 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity options. The smartphone houses a large 4000mAh battery with Huawei’s SuperCharge quick charge technology.
