Twitter has announced its plan to kill vine “in the coming months.” It has already disabled the option to upload the new vine clips for now.

This short video sharing service has been the source of various humorous clips, memes and interesting videos. Many people also became start after getting popularity there.

Vine was launched back in 2013 January and got popularity in very short time.

The company confirmed that the app and website are still alive. So, you can still watch videos. You will be able to access and download your vines. Twitter will notify the confirmed date when it will be shutting down the Vine.

Vine faced trouble after Instagram also added support for videos. Snapchat also attracted many Vine users. Vine tried to struggle by adding support to longer videos, but this plan didn’t work.
