Chinese smartphone maker TCL has launched its new smartphone TCL 550 in China. THis smartphone is priced at 899 Yuan and comes in Gold and Gray color variants. TCL 550 will be available both from online and offline channels.

TCL 550 comes with 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display and runs on Android (Version not known yet) OS. It is powered by 1.8 GHz MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor with Mali-T860 GPU and 3 GB RAM. It has 32 GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 128 GB.

It also has textured finish on the back with curved edges. It also has a physical home button below the display that is equipped with fingerprint sensor. The company claims that it takes half a second to unlock the phone using fingerprint. It also supports WeChat and AliPay payments.

TCL 550 features a 13 megapixels rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and PDAF. The camera claims to focus in just 0.2 seconds. It also has a 5 megapixels front camera with f/2.4 aperture.

It comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and MicroUSB 2.0 connectivity options. It is also packed with AKM audio chip to offer Hi-Fi at a 3.6W output.

It is packed with 2960 mAh battery that claims to offer a full day usage. It measures 152.6 x 76.8 x 7.99 mm and weighs 150 grams.
