Samsung Galaxy Note 7 S-Pen

Samsung has finally decided to stop the production of Samsung Galaxy Note 7. No more new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be manufactured and sold worldwide.

This decision came after media started questioning the explosion of replacement units. Samsung already suggested all existing users to power down the smartphone. All retailers have stopped selling or exchanging this phone.

Taking our customer’s safety as our highest priority, we have decided to halt sales and production of the Galaxy Note 7

Samsung has tried everything to fix Galaxy Note 7 issue but the matter was already out of company’s hand. It tried replacing existing units with safer units but safe units also couldn’t fix the issue. It even restricted the devices from charging beyond 60% to avoid overcharge.

Samsung has requested all the Galaxy Note 7 users (both old and new) to switch off their phones and stop using it. It also suggested all customers to return the devices for a refund or opt for an alternative Samsung phone.

Samsung’s share also fell 8 percent that hurt $17 billion of market value before this termination was announced.
