Yesterday, we reported about Prisma’s update for iOS that brought ability add Prisma filters in videos. Android users will have to wait few more days for that, but Prisma has a good news for them as well. Prisma for Android finally supports offline mode.

Prisma’s offline mode was announced for iOS few weeks back. Now it is available for Android users. So, internet connection is needed only to download the styles in Prisma app. All processing will be done locally on the device.

It is worth to note that only half of the styles are available for offline usage. The company has promised to bring all as soon as they can. When you are offline, styles which do not support offline mode will be grayed.

This news is good for regular Prisma users who do not want to see server overloaded error messages while using the app.

Try this new update on Prisma and check if you see performance improvements. It is because local processing will take lesser time than it takes in online processing.
