Oppo has just launched two new selfie focused smartphones Oppo R9s and Oppo R9s Plus in China. These phones come with 16 megapixels front camera. Oppo R9s plus is also the first Oppo phone to feature 6GB RAM,
The Oppo R9s comes with 5.5-inch Full HD display with Oppo R9s Plus gets 6-inch Full HD display. Both phone gets Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the display. Oppo R9 is powered by 2.0Ghz Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM. Oppo R9S is powerful and gets 1.95 GHz Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor with 6GB RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. So, Oppo R9s becomes the first Oppo phone with 6GB RAM.
Both phones come with 16-megapixels Sony IMX398 sensor on the front with f/1.7 aperture and 6P lens. On the rear side, both phones feature 16-megapixels sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 5P lens.
Both devices are available with 64GB internal storage with option to expand storage up to 128 GB. Oppo has updated its colorOS to version 3.0 based on Android Marshmallow.

The Oppo R9s comes with 3010 mAh battery while Oppo R9s gets larger 4000 mAh battery. Both phones support VOOC flash charging.
Oppo R9s is priced at 2799 Yuan and R9S will be sold for 3499 Yuan. The Oppo R9s phones will be available starting October 28 from both online and offline channels. Oppo R9S will be available later this year in December.
