Google has now integrated Ola and Uber booking options in search results. It enables people to make use of search results to book a cab.
When you search for a destination by tapping on search option, Google provides you the relevant results with the option to book Ola or Uber based on your search inputs.
Tapping on these cab options will launch the cab service’s app. In case you do not have the app installed on your phone, it opens the Play Store to install the app. After launching the app, you still need to manually enter the destination data in Ola while it is pre-filled in Uber.
This feature was already integrated with Google Maps where you now see a dedicated tab with information on cab services.
Now this option is available internationally including India. It works fine with Uber and Ola both. You still need to use Ola and Uber app to book the cab.
