While everyone has been trying to get Jio SIM, many people are not able to generate the barcode on their phone even if their phone supports 4G with VoLTE. The solution is to use the older version of My Jio app. Follow these steps to generate the barcode for Jio SIM in My Jio App if you are not able to get it via standard way.

Step 1: Uninstall the My Jio app.

Step 2: Now download the older version of the app by using this link. Before you install the app, turn off the internet connection on your phone otherwise, it will suggest you to download the latest app.

Step 3: Restart the phone before you open the app.

Step 4: Open the app and tap on “Install app” option to install all JIO apps. Be sure to activate the internet connection for this.

Step 5: Now you can see the option “Get Jio SIM”. Tap on it to generate the bar code.
