Facebook has become an essential tool for business and an important part of life for users. Now, the company has added another cool feature that will help both businesses and users.

Now Facebook users can get recommendations from friends. If you write a post seeking advice or help on local places or services, you will get an option to turn on recommendations for that post. If you turn on the feature, your friends can suggest you in comments and you will see the place or business mapped in comments.

You can also use the Recommendations bookmark on Facebook to ask a new question or help your friends.

Facebook has also made it easier to explore events in the better way. It has revamped the events bookmark on Facebook. It helps users catch up on the latest events activity from friends and hosts. This revamped events dashboard will start to roll out in the US in coming weeks.

You can also now take few action faster on Facebook. Now, Facebook allows you to order food, request an appointment, get a quote from local business, or get tickets to movies and events.

To order food, you just need to visit the Facebook page of the restaurants. If the restaurant uses Delivery.com or Slice, you will see the option “Start Order” to order the food.

Similarly, Facebook partnered Fandangom Ticketmaster and Eventbrite to book tickets of events or movies. You just need to visit the Facebook page of event or movie to see if this option is available.

These third-party services will differ country to country. In India, you can expect Foodpanda or Swiggy for food ordering and Bookmyshow for ticketing.

Facebook has started rolling out this in the US and in coming months, these features will be available to more countries in partnership with local services for food order and movie tickets.
