It carries MRP of Rs. 9499 but best buy price is Rs. 8799. Retailers have started receiving the units and it will go on sale starting Saturday.

Xiaomi Redmi 3S Plus comes with the 5-inch 720p display and runs on MIUI 8. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC with 2GB RAM. It has 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and 5 megapixels front camera.

It is packed with 4000 mAh battery which aims to offer long battery life.

With this move, the company is now focusing on Tier II and Tier III cities where people hardly use online shopping. This will surely boost a number of smartphones sold by Xiaomi. It already achieved a milestone by selling 2.3 million units of Redmi Note 3.
