Mukesh Ambani Officially Announces “Jio”; See Jio Tariff Plans and Other Details

Finally, Reliance Jio has officially been announced at the company’s 42nd AGM. RIL chairman Mukesh Ambani has announced country’s much-awaited telecom service and dedicated this to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for 1.2 billion Indian people.

Reliance has already tied up with around 20 different smartphone brands to bundle JIo SIM cards with free voice and data for three months. Starting September 5, all Jio’s boquet of apps will be available for free until 31 December 2016.

The company has already committed a very hard target for itself. It aims to cover 90% of India’s population by March 2017.

The JioFi router has been launched for Rs. 1999 and LYF devices with 4G start from Rs. 2999. All these things are revolutionary and people are already excited to get JIO SIM to enjoy its high-speed 4G network.

To provide sim cards quickly, Reliance is already working on Jio Aadhaar (eKYC) based signup to give new customers a SIM card in just 15 minutes. Reliance JIO 4G network is already active in 18000 cities and about 2 Lakh villages.

To surprise you, all voice calls are free across India to any network. Roaming charges are also zero. For those who are interested in fiber lines, the company has already announced its plans to start with selected cities.

We all were expecting that preview offer will end after the official announcement, but the company has changed it to welcome offer. Until 31st December 2016, everything – calls, data, Wi-Fi, apps, will be offered for free!

Jio Student Plan

Any student with valid Jio Id card will get 25% more data on any plan.
