Microsoft has just announced a new feature phone under the Nokia brand. Yes, Nokia is not yet dead and Nokia 216 is the new member of its feature phone family. Microsoft still thinks that feature phones are in demand even if the world has already moved to smartphones.

Nokia 216 features a 2.4-inch color LCD display with. It also has VGA cameras at both rear and front side. And to surprise you, both cameras are backed with LED flash.

This phone is packed with 16 MB RAM. It runs on Series 30+. The phone has stored up to 2000 contacts. It also has microSD card slot to expand storage up to 32 GB.

It is packed with 1020 mAh battery. This phone claims to offer up to 18 hours of talk time and up to 19 days standby (for Dual SIM) for the Nokia 216. Battery backup is the only thing which is still forcing people to buy a feature phone. And this phone will also offer long battery backup.

It comes with Bluetooth 3.0 with SLAM and HSP/HFP profile, Micro USB, 3.5 mm AV connector and FM Radio. It will be available in both single SIM and dual SIM variant.

It has Opera Mini browser and Opera Mobile Store. Users will be able to download more apps from Opera Mobile Store.

It is available  in white, black or mint colors for Rs. 2495.
