LG V20 with 5.7-inch Display, Android 7.0, dual rear cameras, and Snapdragon 820 announced

Wait is over and LG has finally announced its latest top-end phone LG V20 at an event in San Francisco. This is the first phone to come with Android 7.0 out of the box and to come with Google’s recent announced In Apps search.

LG V20 has lightweight aluminum (AL6013 metal, found in aircraft) body. It also has Silicone Polycarbonate (Si-PC) on the top and bottom of the phone to protect it from damage. Design also meets the US Military Standard MIL-STD 810G to withstand a fall of up to 1.2 meters.

LG V20 comes with 5.7-inch Quad HD IPS Quantum display with 513 ppi pixel density. It also has a secondary IPS Quantum display of 2.1-inch with 160 x 1040 pixels resolution. It is powered by Quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU and 4 GB RAM.

It offers 64 GB internal storage with microSD card slot to expand storage up to 2 TB. It has Android 7.0 Nougat with LG UX 5.0+ at the top of it.

It comes with 16-megapixels rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, 75-degree lens, f/1.8 aperture, OIS, Laser detection Auto Focus, Phase Detection Autofocus and 4K video recording. It also offers 8-megapixels secondary rear camera with f/2.4 aperture. At front, it has 5-megapixels camera with f/1.9 aperture.

It has Hi-Fi video recording and uses Low Cut Filter (LCF) that removes unwanted background noise. It captures audio using 24-bit / 48 kHz Linear Pulse Code Modulation (LPCM). It also has 32-bit Hi-Fi ESS SABRE ES9218 Quad DAC and supports lossless music formats including FLAC, DSD, AIFF and ALAC.

Connectivity features of the phone are 4G LTE, Dual-band WI-Fi 8.2.11 ac, Bluetooth LE, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. It is packed with 3200 mAh battery with QuickCharge 3.0.
