Google has officially confirmed to host a smartphone launch event on October 4. This event is to announce the Pixel phones.
Google also posted a teaser video on YouTube to confirm Pixel phones. This video starts with a long rectangular Google Search bar which slowly takes the shape of a phone.
Google also tossed up a new website which shows similar kind of image of a phone but with changing skin. Google has also tweeted the same video with hashtag #madebygoogle.
As we all were expecting, Google rebranded Nexus phones to promote new phones as Google’s phones. This is the reason Google is calling these phones “Made by Google”. Leaked images also confirmed Google’s branding at the back.
