Facebook’s ‘Live Video’ feature is coming to desktop

‘Facebook Live’ is already available for users via mobile app and allows users to broadcast a live video. Today, the company has also confirmed this feature for desktop in a comment to SocialTimes.

We’re starting to roll out the ability for people to broadcast live on Facebook from their desktop or laptop.

This feature is popular among journalists, vloggres, celebrities and others who requested this feature to bring on the desktop. Facebook has already started testing this will small set of users and will be available to all in the coming months.

Facebook user Delilah Taylor shared a Live video recorded by desktop and she was one of those few users who are a part of Live video testing on desktop. See the screenshot of this option below.
